What services are offered?

There are two main services:

General Massage Therapy Appointments: These appointments are tailored to meet your specific needs and preferences. Whether you’re seeking relaxation, therapeutic relief, or assistance with a particular issue such as pregnancy discomfort or sports-related tension, we’ve got you covered. Our approach encompasses a wide range of techniques, including but not limited to fascial release, lymphatic drainage, and more. Simply put, your session is customized to address whatever you’d like to focus on, ensuring you receive the most personalized care possible.
Indie Head Massage: Experience pure relaxation and rejuvenation with our Indie Head Massage. Warm oil gently is poured over your forehead and scalp, initiating a deeply calming sensation. Following this, enjoy a soothing massage targeting the scalp, face, neck, and shoulders, designed to release tension and promote relaxation. This 30-minute session can be enjoyed on its own or seamlessly incorporated into our 60 or 90-minute treatments, enhancing your overall well-being and leaving you feeling refreshed and revitalized.

What is needed in-home massage?

For an optimal in-home massage experience, please ensure you have the following prepared:

Sufficient Space: Please ensure you have an area in your home that can accommodate a massage table. Ideally, this space should be approximately 5 feet by 10 feet or larger to allow for comfortable movement around the table.
Comfortable Environment: I will bring music to enhance the tranquil atmosphere. You can choose from my playlists or play your own music to suit your preference.
Cleanliness: Prior to the massage appointment, please tidy up the designated massage area to ensure a clean and clutter-free environment.
Privacy: Choose a location in your home where you can enjoy your massage session without disruptions or distractions.
Access to Power Outlet (if desired): If you would like to use a heating pad during your appointment, ensure there’s access to a nearby power outlet. Otherwise, power access may not be necessary.
Communication: Inform your massage therapist of any specific preferences or concerns you may have beforehand to tailor the session to your needs.

By preparing these basic essentials, you can optimize your in-home massage experience and fully enjoy the benefits of relaxation and rejuvenation.

Preparation for Your Massage Appointment

What should I wear to my massage appointment?

Comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that you can easily remove. Many clients choose to undress completely for their massage, but it’s entirely up to your comfort level. You will be provided with privacy to undress and you will be draped appropriately during the session.

Should I shower before my massage?

While it’s appreciated if you arrive feeling clean and refreshed, it’s not mandatory. Ensuring good hygiene is appreciated, but it’s not essential for the massage itself.

Should I shave before my massage?

There’s no need to shave before your massage appointment. It won’t affect the quality of your massage.

Can I eat before my massage?

It’s best not to eat a heavy meal immediately before your massage appointment, as you may feel uncomfortable lying on your stomach. However, it’s okay to have a light snack if you’re hungry. Just try to avoid large meals right before your session.

Can I drink alcohol before my massage?

It’s not recommended to consume alcohol before a massage, as it can affect your body’s ability to respond to the massage techniques and may leave you feeling dehydrated or dizzy. It’s best to avoid alcohol before your appointment.
